We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and payment details when you register or subscribe. We also collect information automatically when you use Qubold, including log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), usage data (events created, storage used), and cookies. Photos and files you upload are stored on your behalf. We treat your content as confidential and do not access it except to provide the service or as required by law.

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve Qubold; process transactions; send service and billing communications; respond to comments and support requests; and monitor usage for security and abuse prevention. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information with: service providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processors, cloud storage, email delivery); law enforcement or government bodies when required by law; or other parties with your consent. In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Qubold account.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; object to processing; and request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@qubold.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We use cookies to maintain your session and remember preferences. When enabled and permitted by your cookie choices, Google Analytics measures page visits, product activity, and purchases; Meta Pixel and the Conversions API measure ad performance, registrations, trials, and subscriptions. Our first-party journal analytics measure article views, reading progress, shares, code copies, diagrams, and calls to action, and attribute subsequent signups, trials, and paid subscriptions to the most recently read article for up to 30 days. Marketing conversion matching may share Facebook browser/click identifiers and a hashed account email with Meta. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. Qubold is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of Qubold after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
